Description
The overall aim of this activity is to introduce students to a way of expressing future plans in Italian and explore this grammatical structure in itself, as well as in comparison to other romance languages (French and Spanish).

The students are supposed to read an email and answer questions about it. Apart from practicing their reading comprehension, this activity is used to introduce the future tense.

The students are then asked to fill in a table with instances of verbs in future forms found in the email and discuss the ways these constructions are formed. In the end, the students are supposed to compare the future forms in Italian, French and Spanish and note possible similarities and differences between the formation and use of the future tense.

N.B. There are equivalent activities available in French, Italian and Spanish.

Duration:1x30
