Description
The European Language Portfolio for adult migrants, a Norwegian version of the European Language Portfolio (ELP), was developed according to guidelines of the European Council and in line with the European Framework for Languages (CEFR). It is based on known principles of learning and teaching in foreign language and second language, and its goal is to promote and document the acquisition of language skills. As such, the language portfolio has both a monitoring and an educational function.

Although this portfolio was developed specifically for use in teaching Norwegian as a second language, each part can also be used by any language teacher or learner.
